Organizations often use several subdomains with different credentials. Broad matching can be convenient, but it may offer a privileged login on a page that should use another account. Give vault entries descriptive names, keep exact URLs where practical and review the selected username before filling. Users with personal and work accounts should avoid choosing solely by the first suggestion.
When one website contains embedded content from another domain, confirm which party receives the form data. A familiar logo inside an iframe does not prove that the credential is being submitted to the expected service.
Autofill on shared devices
Do not leave the vault unlocked merely to make family or office logins faster. Use separate operating-system profiles and separate NordPass accounts. Short automatic-lock intervals and biometric reapproval can preserve convenience without giving every person who touches the device access to saved cards and passwords.
NordPass autofill saves time and reduces manual password exposure. Its strongest security benefit appears when users treat a missing match as a reason to inspect the domain rather than an inconvenience to bypass.
